Grow Gators and Gymboree Brands: New Partnership!
I’m excited to announce Gymboree brands has invited Grow Gators to become a Mommy blog partner with them, including representing Janie and Jack and Crazy 8!
If you know me personally or follow my blog, you know how much I especially love Janie and Jack! I’m excited to share what these wonderful children’s brands are doing each month.
As a new mom I’ve learned what good, quality kids clothing means: durability, comfort, and of course, cuteness factor. Another item I had never considered before was resale value. Our local consignment shop loves these brands and I get more money from them when I sell our smaller clothes. And for the pieces I absolutely love, they’ve held up well and are now in storage waiting for any of our future babies.

#1 Clothing Tip from GrowGators
I’ve learned to buy ahead for children’s clothing. For example, the Little Pumpkin outfit in the photo below I had bought at the beginning of November 2012 before she was even born. I knew that in October 2013 she would be in a 6-12 month size. I scored that onesie for $9.99 on clearance.
Since then, I’ve bought all of her holiday outfits ahead of time, right after the holiday this year passed. So… we have our Halloween 2014 shirt all ready to go from Janie and Jack. Sure, it’s last year’s release, but it’s still wonderful! And the outfit we are wearing for our holiday cards this year: I got the dress and tights in January, when everything was on sale.
I recently took a pregnant friend to Crazy 8 as she had never been. She scored her little boy’s St Patrick’s Day shirt for next year for $2.99! Just one more tip to save money on top quality clothes!
Stay tuned for discounts, sales, promotions and more from these great brands for your little Gator(s). Oranges, blues, and alligators continue to be a popular trend in 2014 so I’m sure we’ll see some great styles coming from Gymboree brands in the coming months.
