The Chick-Fil-A at the corner of Kirkman and Conroy Roads in Orlando just rolled out Mommy VIP Service.

Until you’re a new Mom, you don’t really consider the logistics of ordering a meal. You think, “I’ll just run in and grab a sandwich.” It all changes when you have little ones in tow.

With lots of gear to juggle, I’ve traded in my cute Coach purse for a stylish, yet functional Vera Bradley hipster, leaving me hands-free. But add on a diaper bag, an insulated lunch bag for Lily with her food & snacks, a highchair cover, PLUS carrying the baby, my hands (and shoulders) are quickly occupied. And when we just want a quick lunch, I hate to break out the stroller and bring that inside. When we go out for lunch minus Daddy, I usually go to a table service restaurant so I don’t have to carry a tray, or the mall food court, where it makes sense to take the stroller to help lighten my arm load.

Last week, we stopped in at the Kirkman Rd. Chick-Fil-A for lunch as a family and I immediately noticed a new, convenient perk that this new Mom is certainly grateful for: Mommy VIP Service!!!

My hubby was with us, so we didn’t utilize the service, but here’s what to expect! You can guarantee Lily and I will be back soon!

Mommy (Daddy’s too) VIP Service

Moms (Dads too as the sign says) go through the drive-thru while their little ones are still nice and buckled in their car seats. Place your order (request Mommy VIP Service when you order) and pay, but they hold onto your food until you get settled inside.

Then, you drive around where designated spaces await. I’m talking rock star spaces. By the front door. And if you’ve been to a Chick-Fil-A during lunchtime, you know this is super important.

Placards are on the tables in the Mommy VIP area to help leave the seats open for Moms (and Dads) with little ones in tow.

(When we visited, the spaces were across the lot, but they have moved them to be in front of the main door now after listening to moms’ feedback about crossing the parking lot).

Once inside, the high chairs were lined up and ready in the seats near the indoor play area. They were already wiped down, and on the seat was a Purell wipe and a disposable, adhesive placemat — perfect! BUT, if you are using the Mommy Valet Service, they set this up for you ahead of time! Again, reducing the juggling of trying to put baby into the high chair while setting the table up. Once inside, you’re greeted by their hospitality hostess and escorted to your reserved table in the Mommy VIP dining room located next to the indoor play area.

Once settled in, they bring you your food.

Love these adhesive placemats… the paper ones move too much. Another thoughtful touch.

My hubby Jesse was with me, so we didn’t utilize the drive-thru portion yet, but I now know where I’ll be going for lunch when we have a Mommy & Me day! There’s another location closer to our home, but the extra 10 minute drive for this service is worth it. I hope Chick-Fil-A rolls this out at other locations.

I have to say I’ve noticed a different attitude at this location (operated by Eric Johnson) to moms and families as a whole. Their team members even read to kids at the Windermere library each week. They definitely cater to their customers and take customer service to not just the next level, but the highest level.

The Kirkman Chick-Fil-A location is convenient to Universal Studios, the Mall at Millenia, the Dr. Phillips area, and International Drive so even if you don’t live in Orlando, keep it in mind when visiting.
